Valencia acoge el primer Congreso de Internacional sobre la Sábana Santa

Valencia acogerá el primer Congreso Internacional sobre la Sábana Santa, que se llevará a cabo entre los días 28 y 30 de abril, en el Aula Magna de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universitat de Valéncia. El Congreso está organizado por el Centro Español de Sindonología (CES), una entidad encargada de estudiar y difundir la Sábana Santa de Turín, además de otras reliquias que se atribuyen a Jesucristo.

Esta reunión, supone el primer foro que se realiza en Europa, sobre este tema, después de los 10 años que han pasado desde que se realizó el primero en España.

El objetivo del Congreso es el de conocer todos los estudios que se están llevando a cabo, por parte de los investigadores, sobre la Sábana Santa, de una forma directa y sin distorsiones.

Expertos de 26 países se reunirán en el Congreso, entre los que destacan: Bruno Barberis, Ian Wilson o Mark Guscin, entre otros, los cuales expondrán sus últimos trabajos, sobre la reliquia, sobre su historia, sobre la formación de su imagen, el estudio médico forense que se llevó a cabo, los años que tiene, además de las investigaciones que se tienen previstas en un futuro.

Valencia hosts the first International Congress on the Shroud
Valencia will host the first International Congress on the Shroud, which will take place between 28 and 30 April at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Valencia.
