Las bandas de música tradicionales tocarán en el Palau de les Arts

Como novedad el Palau de les Arts acogerá a partir del sábado 24 un ciclo, Les bandes a les Arts, en el que las bandas de música serán las protagonistas. Las agrupaciones musicales son uno de los pilares tradicionales de la música en nuestra comunidad, y para mostrar su apoyo la Generalitat ha cifrado en 60.000 euros el presupuesto de esta iniciativa.

En esta primera edición se han seleccionado a 24 bandas, y todas deben cumplir el requisito de interpretar alguna composición valenciana, Será la Banda Municipal de la la ciudad del Turia, y la de Castellón las encargadas de participar en el concierto inaugural, que será a las 19 horas, ya que en cada concierto actuarán dos bandas.

Tras el descanso de la Semana Santa, el resto de actuaciones se iniciarán el domingo 22 de abril y finalizarán el domingo 10 de junio en la sala Martín i Soler, en esta sala será donde toquen las más pequeñas (hasta sesenta músicos) y las más grandes lo harán en el Auditorio.

Algunas de las agrupaciones a las que podremos escuchar serán por ejemplo, la Unión Musical de Benidorm, Unión Lírica Orcelitana de Orihuela, la Sociedad Musical de Algemesí o la banda del Ateneo Musical de Cullera…
El orden de actuación ha sido por sorteo que se celebró en la Conselleria de Gobernación el pasado 14 de marzo.

Traditional music bands will perform at the Palau de les Arts

As a new Palau de les Arts will host from Saturday 24 cycle, Les bandes to the Arts, in which bands will be the protagonists. The order of performance was by a draw held at the Department of the Interior on 14 March.
