La Colección de Dibujos del Museo de Bellas Artes juntas en una exposición

El Museo de Bellas Artes San Pío V muestra las obras maestras de su colección de dibujos, que está formada por un total de 4.000 piezas, en una exposición inédita titulada “Líneas maestras. Dibujos del Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia”, que nos hace un recorrido por 4 siglos de arte de la mano de autores como Goya, Sorolla o Benlliure.

El recorrido comienza en el siglo XV y llega hasta el siglo XX, y se podrán contemplar 81 dibujos de 60 artistas como: Berruguete, Juan de Juanes, Pedro de Orrente, Benlliure, Pinazo, Sorolla, Lucca Cambiaso, Parmiggianino, Domenicchino, Lucca Giordano, Gianquinto, Mengs, Le Brun, Van Loo, Boucher y Greuze.

El recorrido se realiza a través de una estructura temática y cronológica: religiosa, retratos, retratos folclóricos,academias, paisajes, historia y motivos florales, esta última temática surge de la clase de “flores y ornatos” que se impartía en la Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, que pretendía difundir la industria de la seda en Valencia.

Entre las obras más reseñables está el único dibujo que existe en España del artista Yáñez de la Almedina y un dibujo de Goya, el cual fue donado por el propio artista al San Pío V para conmemorar su visita a la Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos en 1790. Otras piezas únicas son el dibujo firmado por Mariano Benlliure, “El rey Alfonso XIII jurando la Constitución en 1902″ o “La última cena ” obra de Juan de Juanes.
