HERMANDAD DE NUESTRO PADRE JESÚS NAZARENO

La historia de la Hermandad viene dividida en dos partes: la primera abarca desde su fundación en 1945 hasta su última salida procesional en 1951 y la segunda desde su refundación en 1988 hasta hoy. Entre medias se extiende un periodo de 37 años en que la Hermandad como tal no existió aunque el trono anda titular estuvo siempre expuesto a la veneración del pueblo en la Parroquia de Santa María del Mar.
A pesar de este lapso, la Hermandad procesiona y funciona hoy en día de forma muy similar a como lo hacía antaño, con un uniforme idéntico, conservándose el mismo estandarte y con unos estatutos muy parecidos. Los cambios vienen más marcados por el propio paso del tiempo que por el hecho de existir dos etapas diferentes.
La familia Illueca es, en cierta forma, el “alma mater” de la Hermandad desde su fundación, ya que fue quien fundó la Hermandad y quien costeó los gastos del trono anda. No obstante, la historia de la Hermandad se asienta también sobre las espaldas de muchas otras personas que nos han transmitido este legado y que han hecho posible que, en el siglo XXI, se siga celebrando en nuestra Parroquia y en los Poblados Marítimos esta fiesta tan nuestra.

PRIMERA ETAPA

La empresa Vda. De Enrique Illueca, dedicada a la mecánica naval y a las consignaciones de buques, que tenía sus talleres en las Atarazanas, entonces de su propiedad, decide formar, en 1945, una Hermandad Penitencial con sus empleados, amigos a más de la familia. Se constituye así la Hermandad de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno que sale por primera vez en la tarde del Domingo de Ramos, 14 de abril de 1946. Se constituye en el seno de la cercana Parroquia de Santa María del Mar y se integra en la Junta Mayor de Semana Santa. Se cubre así una titularidad que no existía en la Parroquia.

Fue Doña Lucía Llovet de Illueca quien se preocupó directamente de definir los hábitos, el estandarte, el emblema y quien encargó la talla del conjunto procesional de la Segunda Caída que fue bendecido por el rvdo. Ricardo Climent en la Santa Misa previa a la primera procesión.
Después de seis años de funcionamiento, una serie de lamentables sucesos ocurridos entre las hermandades y cofradías del Grao y las del resto de la Semana Santa Marinera, hizo que, en 1951, esta Hermandad dejara de procesionar a pesar de ciertos intentos, un par de años después, por devolver las aguas a su cauce.

Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno

The history of the Brotherhood is divided into two parts: the first extends from its founding in 1945 until his last exit processional in 1951 and the second since its refounding in 1988 until today. FIRST STAGE

The company Vda. Enrique Illueca dedicated to mechanical and naval appropriations ship, which had their workshops in the shipyards, then of his own, decides to form in 1945, a Penitential Brotherhood with their employees, friends of the family. It is thus the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus the Nazarene who comes first in the afternoon of Palm Sunday, April 14, 1946. It is within the nearby parish of Santa Maria del Mar and is part of the Board Staff of Easter. It thus covers a title that did not exist in the parish.

Doña Lucia was Illueca Llovet who cared directly to define the patterns, banner, emblem, who commissioned the carving of the whole procession of the Second Fall that was blessed by Rev. Fr. Ricardo Climent at Mass before the first procession.
After six years of operation, a series of unfortunate events between the sororities and fraternities of Grau and the rest of Holy Week Sailor, made in 1951, the Brotherhood procesionar stop despite some attempts, a pair of years later, the waters return to normal.
