Dos exposiciones recuerdan la importancia de la Constitución de 1812

La Generalitat mantendrá de forma excepcional abiertas las puertas de la Biblioteca Valenciana y del Centro del Carmen durante todo el día de hoy, para que ese millón de turistas que dicen que hay en la ciudad también puedan disfrutar de las exposiciones temporales sobre la Constitución de 1812. Recordemos que hoy 19 de marzo se celebra del bicentenario de La Pepa.

La muestra Valencianos 1812: Constitución y Libertades que se puede ver hasta el 24 de junio, reúne más de 200 piezas de cerca de 40 museos e instituciones nacionales, y con ella se quiere dar homenaje a la Constitución de Cádiz y a los valencianos que participaron en su elaboración y proclamación. A partir de mañana habrá visitas guiadas a las 10:30, 12:30 y 15:30, para las que hay que reservar a través del eléfono 695500290 o del correo electrónico didactica@consorciomuseos.es, también se han organizado distintos talleres.

Además, en la Biblioteca Valenciana hay otra exposición con la misma temática en la que con fondos propios de la biblioteca y del Archivo del Reino de Valencia, se
muestran documentos procedentes de los archivos municipales en los que se demuestra la trascendencia que tuvo para la Comunitat Valenciana la publicación de la Constitución de 1812 y las leyes que se proclamaron después.

Moreover, in the Valencian Library is another show with the same subject in which with funds from the Library and Archives of the Kingdom of Valencia,
show documents from the municipal archives in demonstrating the importance it had for the Valencia publication of the 1812 Constitution and the laws were proclaimed later.
