EXPOSICIÓN "LES ALTRES FESTES DEL MARÍTIM"

Desde el pasado día 1 de marzo, la Casa-Museo "Salvador Caurín" de la Semana Santa Marinera de Valencia contempla la exposición "Les altres festes del Marítim". Se trata de una muestra de una treintena de fotografías que versan sobre las festividades que han tenido lugar, o que actualmente se desarrollan, en la barriada marinera.

La Semana Santa Marinera comparte con las Fallas el interés y la participación de los vecinos del Marítimo. No obstante, otras celebraciones siguen salpicando el calendario festivo aunque se han ido transformando con el paso del tiempo, Algunas han desaparecido y otras se mantienen. En cualquier caso, sirva esta exposición para recordarlas y rendirles el homenaje que merecen.

La inauguraciòn de la exposición contó con la presencia de Crístóbal Grau, Presidente de la Junta Municipal del Marítimo, que señaló que este tipo de muestras "sirven para recuperar las tradiciones de los pueblos, muchas de ellas desconocidas para las nuevas generaciones". Grau expresó su admiración por el marco donde se realiza esta exposición, "el Museo de la Semana Santa Marinera me parece el mejor escenario para este tipo de reconocimientos que, sin duda, merece la atención de todos los valencianos".

Por su parte, Begoña Sorolla, Presidenta de la Junta Mayor de la Semana Santa Marinera de Valencia manifestó que, "la Junta Mayor quiere contribuir a la recuperación del patrimonio cultural de nuestro barrio, por eso esta muestra y otras que en un futuro tendrán lugar". Rafael Montesinos, comisario de la exposición, abundó en las palabras de la Presidenta y añadió que, "esta exposición debe servir para que todo el Marítimo sea consciente de lo que supone nuestra cultura y tradición, por eso animanos a todos aquellos que tengan en sus casas fotos o documentos de nuestro barrio, nos los hagan llegar con el objetivo de continuar con este tipo de manifestaciones".

La exposición "Les altres festes del Marítim" se puede contemplar en la Casa-Museo "Salvador Caurín" de la Semana Santa Marinera de Valencia, calle Rosario,número 1, 46011 Valencia, hasta el pròximo 31 de abril. Horario: de martes a sábados, de 10:00 a 14:00 horas y de 16:30 a 20:30 horas; domingos y festivos, de 10:00 a 15:00 horas.
