"CRUZ DE MAR" DE VICENT RAMÓN PASCUAL, CARTEL DE LA SSM DE 2012
El cartel "Cruz de Mar", cuyo autor es Vicent Ramón Pascual i Giner (Bocairent, 1979), ha sido el ganador de la XI edición del Concurso de Carteles convocado por la Junta Mayor de la Semana Santa Marinera de Valencia. Por su parte, "Formació Natzarena", original de Carlos Llorens Martí y Jaume Navarro Estévez, es el título de la obra que ha logrado el accésit.
El jurado encargado de fallar el premio ha estado compuesto por Pilar Roig, Catedrática y Directora del Departamento de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, José Madrid, profesor de la misma, y Begoña Sorolla, Presidenta de la JMSSM.
La intención del autor del cartel ganador ha sido, según palabras del propio artista, “la de dar un mensaje muy directo y claro. El protagonista es un Cristo Crucificado sobre unas olas del mar. De esta forma se anuncia la Semana Santa por medio del Cristo en la Cruz y su proximidad con el mar, representado por las olas que a su vez hacen de Cruz. Se unen dos elementos característicos de esta Semana Santa en una sola imagen”.
Vicent Ramón Pascual i Giner posee un currículo repleto de primeros premios en diversos certámenes de carteles y, precisamente, otra obra suya también obtuvo el primer premio en la IX edición del Cconcurso que convoca anualmente la Junta Mayor de la SSM.

Vicent Giner i Ramon Pascual has a full curriculum of first prizes in several competitions for posters and, in fact, another of his works also won first prize in the ninth edition of which convenes annually Cconcurso Board Staff of the SSM.
